On the issues

Dad, Husband, and Councilman dedicated to keeping Brook Park a great place for Families!

Thomas W. Dufour is committed to building a community where every family can thrive.

Families are the heart of Brook Park. As a councilman, I’ve worked to ensure parents can raise their kids with confidence, seniors are supported with dignity, and every household has access to safe streets, vibrant parks, and strong community spaces.

That commitment has shaped every decision I’ve made on Council. From improving our parks and playgrounds to restoring the community pool, I’ve been proud to lend my vote to revitalize the places where families gather and grow. I’ve supported critical investments in infrastructure—because safe, well-maintained streets make daily life easier and safer for everyone. And I’ve backed efforts to expand local healthcare access and improve transportation for our seniors, ensuring that the people who helped build this city can continue to thrive here.

I believe supporting families isn’t about any single policy—it’s about creating a foundation of stability and opportunity. When families are strong, our community is strong. That’s what guides me every day as your representative on Brook Park City Council.

Personal Note

As a father and a husband raising my own son here in Brook Park, I carry the same hopes and worries as every other parent in our city. Every vote I cast is guided by the belief that our community should be a place where families feel safe, supported, and proud to call home.
