Grow Brook Park’s Economy

If elected to city council, I plan to help the administration take advantage of Brook Park’s biggest opportunities to attract new businesses and grow our local economy.

One of my top priorities as a city council member will be to promote economic development and job creation in Brook Park.

Taking advantage of the incredible opportunities before us, I will tirelessly work to attract new businesses and industries to our area while providing our existing companies and entrepreneurs get much-needed support. Residents and business owners alike benefit from a strong local economy. I am dedicated to ensuring our city is a prosperous and vibrant place to live and work.

As a city council member, I will work with our city’s economic development commissioner, the administration, and regional and national partners to take advantage of and create new prospects for Brook Park. Currently, our city is uniquely positioned to capitalize on several prevailing opportunities. However, if elected, I don’t intend to wait for every opportunity to come to us. City council needs to be proactive in helping the administration develop new opportunities. As such, I will work to promote further our city’s strengths and advantages, such as our strong transportation network, and ensure our economic development team has the resources they need to get the job done. By showcasing what our city offers, we can encourage businesses to invest in our community, creating new jobs and options for our residents.

I am also committed to supporting our existing businesses and entrepreneurs. Small businesses are the backbone of America, and having worked with and operated a small business myself, I understand the challenges they face. I will also encourage residents to shop and dine locally, supporting our small businesses and keeping more money in our community. Additionally, I will seek out opportunities to help establish new brick-and-mortar stores and restaurants and help entrepreneurs locate in our city.

Promoting economic development and job creation is essential for our city’s success and for solving some of our city’s most stubborn problems. By working to attract new businesses and support our existing ones, we can create a vibrant and prosperous community that remains a great place to live, work, raise a family, and retire.
